Good morning 🙂
I have never been the type to make new years “resolutions.”  One thing I have done for years now however, is to make a list of GOALS.  Goals always have a better chance of being achieved when you put them out into the universe.  For that reason, I am sharing my list of goals this year with those who read my blog 🙂
I think it is healthy to have goals, for something to work towards. Â It is nice to revisit “The List” throughout the year and check up on your progress. Â For 2012, my goal was to book 5 weddings. Â I booked 14. Â Another goal was to make a website – I made a website and a blog. The list goes on….
This year, my goals look like this:
1. Spend less time glued to my laptop, by enlisting help. Â Rather than seeing that as a failure, see it as business growth. I have always said… the more the merrier.
2. Spend more quality time with my friends, family, and Brent. Â I want to be a better friend, daughter, sister and girlfriend.
3. Absolutely rock the 20 weddings I have booked by learning, growing, working with more people, trying new techniques and taking chances.
4. Continue to impress my clients with additional acts of love and kindness outside of their wedding… I can’t share tooo much here 🙂
5. Be a mentor to someone else.
6. Stop putting the gym as last on my list to do…. it always gets cut first. Â Make it a priority at least 2x/week.
7. Read a damn novel for once… they are just piling up beside my bed.
8. Blog CONSISTENTLY 3-4 times/week (I was a bad blogger during the busy months last year….)
9.  Continue to try every single flavour of frozen yoghurt that Yoghurty’s creates 🙂
10. Don’t forget about my first passion… Nursing. Â Take a course to build my knowledge in Oncology.
11. Take EVERY opportunity to travel.
12. Start “Mini-Sessions” for family shoots (more info to come!)
13. Start working with Bliss Productions on their weddings…. I adore their work.
14. Get published 3 times, with at least one of those on Junebug Weddings.
15. Bring out my creativity by doing more Styled Shoots.
[…] back at my blog post from 2013 Goals, I am happy to say that I was able to check quite a lot off the list! Â Some of the accomplishments […]
