Guys, this weather has me housebound, covered in blankets, not wanting to move past my front door. Who is with me? The cozy feeling of being at home brought me back to one of my favourite at home engagement sessions with Ness and Tay!
For couples who are home bodies, and love being curled up on the couch for some downtime, I always suggest doing their engagement session in the place that is most familiar to them. Let me just hang out, and capture you doing YOU. Reading in bed? Sure! Making coffee? Yes please! Drinking wine and playing board games? Oh ya! All of it please!
On this particular morning, Ness and Tay reminisced on this little notebook that they used to write love notes to each other in when they were long distance. They were long distance for four long years, so they adopted this sweet tradition! Whoever was the receiver of the black book, would write a note to the giver, and then sneak it into a bag for them to find when they got home. This went back and forth and back and forth until they moved in together. One lazy morning, Ness found the notebook out on the coffee table. She picked it up and started reading it when she felt Tay wrap his arms around her from behind. She could feel his heart pounding through his chest. At that point, SHE KNEW something was up. She read the final entry in the book where Tay wrote the sweetest love note yet, and asked her to marry him. (Cue ALL the tears.) OH, and he had a go pro hidden taping the entire thing. Yea, you guys win all the cutest everything awards. I will just leave you with that!
