When you get engaged on a beautiful California beach, and you love beaches, and you decorate your home in a beach-y fashion…. it makes sense to have your engagement session on a beach.  It may not have been the ocean, or California, but man, Ward’s Island was a pretty beautiful backdrop to get to know Alayna and Jon and make some magic happen.

After only a few hours, it felt like I had known them for years.  That is the kind of people they are… so warm, loving, and easy to talk to. Oh, they are also crazy about each other, which makes me beyond excited to be behind the lens.  It was a dream to photograph you both.  Thanks for climbing on rocks, getting into the waves and ending the night searching for my lost flip flops… Haha, I had SO much fun with you two, and I cannot wait for the next beach shoot at your wedding next summer!!
