I met Amber around 12-13 years ago.  We were camp counsellors together in our hometown.  We always loved getting the same camps and getting to see eachother every single day.  She was always amazing with the kids!  SO, it was no surprise to me when Amber became a teacher.  I always heard about Greg, but didn’t have the pleasure of meeting him until their engagement session.  Greg was very modest about his hockey experience, but you could tell he was just in his element on his skates.  I loved how he tied up Ambers skates and guided her around the rink.  These two warmed my heart…. even on the coldest day ever 🙂  Amber and I hadn’t seen each other for years until this day, and it just made me so happy to see her with Greg, all grown up now.  It is really crazy how time flies by!

It might have been one of the coldest sessions I have ever done, but it really was so worth it to capture these two in their element. I love the pure joy on their frozen faces.  Enjoy this oh-so-Canadian engagement session on ice skates at the rink!
