I can’t even explain to you all, just how long I have been excited for this shoot.  Pretty much 2 years, which marks the anniversary of Andrea & Roy’s amazing wedding in Gravenhurst, and my very first wedding.

I adore Andrea and Roy. Beyond words, they have such a special place in my heart.  I was soooo excited as I drove own the QEW to finally meet the eagerly anticipated baby Mya.  And she was just as sweet as I imagined.

I drove home thinking, wow.  I am doing exactly what I want to be doing.  I recalled way back at my very first consult, Andrea asking me “So where do you see this (photography) going?”  I answered, “Well, ultimately, I want to become friends with all of my wedding clients.  I want them to have such an incredible experience working with me for their wedding, that they will think of no one else to capture the next major milestone in their life… their baby.”  Weddings and babies are where my heart lies with photography. Getting to photograph the incredible couples that I work with is unreal, and then getting to photograph them again with a beautiful new life is just surreal.  I feel SO incredibly lucky to be asked to capture these special moments in peoples lives.  It is something that I will never take for granted, and always be grateful for. So… thank you, Andrea and Roy for being unreal clients, amazing people, referring me to everyone you know, and for being great friends.  I can’t wait to get together again, eat pad thai, talk about life and see your beautiful family grow.
