The day was perfection. But really, there is not one thing that I can possible imagine that would have made this day any more special than it was. Individually, Caroline and Andrew are the most kind hearted, thoughtful, and caring people. Together, they are a force to be reckoned with. These two have a special kind of love. I mean, they have been together for something like 14 years. It wasn’t a matter of if this day would come, just when.
There are a lot of people that love these two phenomenal humans, and there was a lot of eagerness to celebrate with them. There were so many moments on this day that made it extraordinarily special for Caroline and Andrew (and truly for everyone who was in attendance that day). The beautiful thoughtful gift from Caroline’s mum, the first look with Caroline’s dad, the first time Andrew saw Caroline that day, the singing during the ceremony by dear friends, the father daughter dance that started with Yellow by Coldplay, and then busted into Uptown Funk (complete with outfits), the speeches… oh the speeches. The heartfelt words shared by friends and family that moved everyone in the room to tears. Caroline and Andrew’s grandmothers were unable to attend the wedding, but Andrew went to see them before the wedding and filmed their advice for marriage and even an epic lip-syncing duo, and played it during his speech to Caroline. I am 99% sure that there was not a dry eye in the room.
My personal favourite moment was when everyone sang/screamed Celine Dion’s Power of Love and Caroline & Andrew danced in the middle. It was overwhelming in the BEST kind of way.
These moments, these fleeting moments in time are so special. To be able to capture the emotions of those moments is just something I cannot really describe. It is whyyyy I am a wedding photographer, and why I absolutely love it. Caroline and Andrew, I am so so so happy that you guys finally tied the knot. I am even more happy that I was able to witness such a beautiful day and amazing celebration of your love. Thank you….
Andrew and his guys got ready at a sweet barber shop called Rod Gun & Barbers. All the guys got shaved, while sipping on some beverages in a super cool location. I lovvvved this idea!
Patchouli Design, you girls always blow me away with your beautiful work. These flowers were absolutely perfect.
This dress! It was so fitting for Caroline, who had the MOST incredible experience at Loversland!!
