Krista and Spencer… oh my, where to begin? This wedding was just amazing. These two just warmed my heart the entire day!! They have been (and are are still) living in a long distance relationship while they both pursue very notable careers, but when they are together it is pure adoration for one another. To make their love story even cuter… their grandfathers (who were eachothers best man at their own weddings) actually set these two up. They just knew that they would be a perfect match, and made it happen. I was all teary eyed as both grandfathers stood up during their ceremony and recounted the whole story from their perspective and just how special this moment was for these two families … it was so sweet!
With all but sun in the forecast, they weren’t sure on the morning of the wedding if they were going to be able to have the wedding at the cottage. The rain managed to hold off, and all the mini-school busses shuffled loads of people from town all the way to the cottage. With beautiful signs lining the road as we got closer, the excitement was building. It ended up being perfect. I am so thankful that the rain held off that day, as it was such an amazing spot for a wedding. There were lawn games during cocktail hour, about a billion places to photograph, amazing hand-crafted details, and lots of friends and family to share in the special day 🙂
I have decided that cottage weddings are pretty much the greatest idea ever invented (yep!). This was truly a wonderful, fun and intimate wedding that I was so incredibly grateful to photograph.
Krista and Spencer, I am just SO happy for you two! You make my heart so very happy, and I know that you are going to have such a fun life together 🙂

These signs led us right to the ceremony… all the way up the road, and on the property. So fitting for a cottage wedding!

Not a bad spot for a ceremony, right?
The men who introduced these two…. this speech could not get any cuter, which didn’t leave a dry eye 🙂
