Colleen and Guy… I am SO lucky to have been the one to capture your special day(s). I just didn’t get enough time with you on the first day, so I was lucky enough to get to capture your reception a week later and hang out again.
The wedding was perfect. No seriously, these two had two of the nicest days of the entire summer for the days they booked their wedding and wedding reception (1 week apart). First, at Landgon Hall, they had just a few of their very close friends and family surrounding them while they exchanged vows. They then proceeded to the lawn to play some incredible lawn games (Giant Jenga included *sigh*), and sip on delicious beverages. It was intimate, full of love and so very unique. I loved every minute of their special day(s). And can we just talk about how GORGEOUS Langdon Hall is?! What an incredible venue… so lucky to have been able to photograph there 🙂 The wedding was about Colleen and Guy’s marriage. It was an intimate celebration with close family and friends celebrating them and it was just beautiful in every way.
Make sure to scroll all the way down to Part 2 which shows the reception at The Hamilton Golf and Country Club… these are some of my favourite wedding portraits ever. Amazing location +beautiful couple + beautiful light = photo bliss.
Oh Guy… you just had the best reaction to see your soon-to-be wife… 🙂
This girls voice… BEAUTIFUL!!!! (Info at the end of the blog).
Lawn games… BEST idea EVER.
When it is such a small wedding, it is entirely possible to photograph everyone at the wedding… individually 🙂
Intimate and quaint… it was perfect for Colleen and Guy 🙂
They love games, travel and each other… what a fun way to incorporate all three! Scrabble letters and different languages to say “I Love You.”
And then there was the reception one week later. These are some of my favourite wedding portraits ever! Brides…. blush pink dresses are always a good idea 🙂
Bottom left…. FAV. Gah, I just love these two!!
Can I just say that Colleen hand made this backdrop… yes she did my friends… it was awesome.
