I am SO excited to FINALLLY be able to share these photos with you guys!!! I feel like I have been holding some of my favourite work ever hostage for the last year! This was one of the most beautiful weddings I have ever had the honour of photographing, and not being able to post photos everywhere for nearly a year has been very challenging. It was worth the wait however, as we got to see Lindsey & Rob’s wedding grace the pages of the current issue of Today’s Bride (my FIRST print publication!!!!). This is so incredibly exciting, and I am so happy that Lindsey and Rob get to see their stunning photos in print.
Lindsey is a crazy talented photographer herself, so I will be honest, I was honoured to be asked to photograph her and Rob’s wedding. In the spirit of full discloser, is was also terrifying. I looked up to her since our high school photography teacher gushed about how amazing she was. I know she had high expectations for me, and that made my expectations for myself exponentially higher for the day, but I have to say, it pushed me in some seriously amazing ways. I am so beyond happy with the results, and all of Canada gets to see them as well in Today’s Bride, and that makes my heart so happy that I think it might explode.
Graydon Hall is an absolutely stunning classic venue for a wedding. L+R were really influenced by the english countryside, so throughout all the details you can see hints of it here and there. With eclectic touches of gold, silver and rose throughout the main hall of the house, cascading ombre flowers, and hand written calligraphy, the day came together just as they had dreamed. From their stunning Monet inspired wedding ceremony to our first dance under the stars the day was absolutely breathtaking to us and all our guests.

I am often asked to take “boudoir-style” photos of brides on the morning of their wedding, or even months before. Typically they are a special surprise for the groom when they receive their final photos, and I don’t usually share, but fortunately, I am able to share these ones to hopefully inspire other brides to do something similar! I mean, grooms, wouldn’t you LOVE this?!
The bridal room at Graydon Hall is so unique and beautiful for photos. I loved the antique style decor, and beautiful colours!
Girl… you are stunning! This is one of my favourite images from the whole morning.
She was a picture perfect flower girl 🙂
MARRIED!
This room, this decor, and these FLOWERS!!Patchouli seriously knocked this one out of the park (as they frequently do) – they are one of my favourite vendors to work with in the city. I dream of the day I get to use them!
Post Calligraphy… since seeing her beautiful work, I have taken a course with her to try and learn some of her incredible skills, and I have fallen deeply in love with the art of Calligraphy! Vogue?
