Oh my goodness… where do I begin?

I got a phone call a few weeks ago from Travis, who told me he wanted to propose to Courtney, who is a colleague of mine at the hospital. I was SO excited.  Over the couple of weeks, I helped him plan, we met up to pick a location, and I tried to plan my cover, so that she would not see me or recognize me!  We had it all sorted out.  Everything was packed and ready to go.  I brought down a full picnic with champagne for the two of them, but I sat there with Brent pretending it was our picnic.

I am going to be completely honest.  Photographing a proposal is SO nerve racking, and so exhilerating and so wonderful!!!  I enjoyed being under cover hidden in the grass laying on my stomach.  It felt like I was on a top secret mission.  Brent came along to make make us look like a random couple picnicking in the park, but he mostly just laughed at me lol.

But in all seriousness… I have a new respect for how much planning and thought goes into a proposal.  He was so thoughtful about every single detail, and wanted everything to be perfect.  These two are very lucky to be together.
